TR-047  8 Hour Powered Industrial Trucks – Straight Mast
Our 8 hour Powered Industrial Trucks (Straight Mast) course is designed for both inexperience and experienced operators. The first half of the class is designed to familiarize attendees with the terminology and operating controls of Powered Industrial Trucks along with the operational safety considerations.
During the second half of the class, attendees are monitored for proficiency during practical exercises on the equipment itself. Classroom and Practical objectives:
The classroom portion is designed to cover the OSHA standard 29 CFR 178 and 1926.602 for powered industrial trucks and includes:
  • Basic knowledge of PIT hazards
  • Operator responsibilities
